Introduction


Welcome to TributeToMyPet, a service provided by October Wolf LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and products, including the creation and ordering of the Many Lives Collection, 22 AI-generated portraits of your pet across history, available as a hardcover book, wall calendar, pack of greeting cards, or digital download.

By uploading photos, creating a preview, placing an order, or otherwise using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

A plain-English summary of what we do: You upload a few photos of your pet. We generate 22 original portraits placing your pet into 22 different eras of history and show them to you in a free preview. If you love what you see, you order one or more of our products (hardcover book, wall calendar, greeting cards, digital pack of 22 or 63 portraits, or the Keepsake Bundle). If you don't love the preview, you walk away owing nothing. Simple.

We've tried to write these terms in language that doesn't require a solicitor to decode. Where legal precision is unavoidable, we've said so. The goal is that you finish this page knowing exactly where you stand, and feeling, correctly, that we've nothing to hide.

Who We Are

TributeToMyPet is operated by October Wolf LLC, a company registered in the United States. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout these terms mean October Wolf LLC. References to "you" mean any person who accesses or uses our service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where reasonable, notify existing customers by email. Your continued use of the service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with a change, you may stop using the service.

Eligibility

To use TributeToMyPet you must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if that is higher. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your Photos


What You Upload

When you use TributeToMyPet, you upload photographs of your pet. By uploading photos, you confirm that:

  • You own the photos, or have the right to use them for this purpose.
  • The photos do not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party.
  • The photos do not contain material that is unlawful, obscene, or harmful.
  • You are authorised to share the photos with us for the purposes described in these terms.

How We Use Your Photos

Your photos are used solely to generate your pet's 22-portrait collection. They are passed to our AI image-generation provider, which studies your pet's specific characteristics, markings, colouring, facial structure, expressions, and renders them into each of the 22 historical scenes, so that the resulting portraits are unmistakably of your animal, not a generic substitute.

We do not use your photos to train general-purpose models that will be used for other customers, and our AI provider is contractually prohibited from doing the same. We do not sell your photos. We do not share your photos with third parties except as strictly required to generate your portrait collection.

A note on irreplaceable photos: We understand that some photos, particularly of pets who have passed, are irreplaceable. We treat uploaded photos accordingly, with secure storage and access controls. That said, we strongly recommend you retain your own copies of any photos you upload. We are not a backup service.

Photo Retention

Uploaded photos are retained for the period necessary to generate your portrait collection and to support any post-purchase remake requests or quality queries. Following completion of your order and expiry of any applicable remake or refund window, photos are deleted from active systems on a rolling basis. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Photo Quality

We accept photos of any quality, including low-resolution, poorly lit, or slightly blurry images. You do not need professional photography. The minimum requirement is that the photos clearly show your pet in enough detail for us to identify their specific characteristics. We will advise you if the photos provided are insufficient to produce a result we're confident in.

Portraits & Previews


The Free Preview

Before any payment is required, we generate all 22 portraits in your pet's Many Lives Collection and make them available for you to view in a free preview. This preview is provided at no charge. No credit card is required. It is not a trial with a paywall behind it, it is a genuine opportunity to see every portrait before deciding whether to purchase.

Previews are typically ready within minutes of photo upload. During periods of high demand, this may take longer. We will notify you by email when your preview is ready.

How Portraits Are Created

Your pet's portraits are AI-generated. We pass your uploaded photos to a third-party AI image-generation provider which studies your pet's specific characteristics and renders them into each of the 22 historical scenes (pirate captain, samurai, Renaissance duke, Tang Dynasty poet, Egyptian priest, jazz-age singer, and others), in a photographically faithful style. The portraits are original creations made specifically for your pet. They are not stock images, templates, or generic animal illustrations.

Because each set is generated from scratch for your specific animal, results will vary based on the quality and variety of photos provided. More varied photos (different angles, lighting conditions, expressions) generally produce better results.

Revisions Policy

Revisions happen after payment, not before. The preview shows you the 22 portraits we generated from your photos, that is the collection. If the preview does not move you, you do not pay, no charge, no obligation. We do not regenerate the portrait set in pre-payment "give us another try" rounds.

Once you have paid, if a specific portrait isn't capturing your pet the way it should, contact us and we will re-render it. There is no cap on revisions for paying customers, likeness is the standard and we will keep working until we get there.

Scenes and Settings

The 22 scenes are fixed and selected by us from a curated set of historical eras. We do not generate custom eras, alternative settings, or one-off requested scenes. If you love a portrait from the standard set and want it reprinted as a one-off framed piece, contact us and we will quote it as a custom order.

No Guarantee of Specific Results

While we make every effort to produce portraits that are accurate and beautiful, AI image generation involves a degree of creative interpretation. We cannot guarantee that every portrait will capture every nuance of your pet's appearance. Our commitment is two-fold: (a) you see every portrait before you pay, so the decision rests with you, and (b) once you have paid, we will continue to re-render specific portraits until you are satisfied with the likeness, or, failing that, refund your order in full.

Ordering


Placing an Order

An order is placed when you complete the checkout process and payment is successfully taken. By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You have reviewed your preview and are satisfied with the portrait quality.
  • You have selected the products you want (hardcover book, wall calendar, greeting cards, digital pack of 22 or 63 portraits, the Keepsake Bundle, or any combination).
  • The details you have provided (name, shipping address for physical products, email) are accurate.
  • You are authorised to make payment using the payment method provided.

Hardcover Dedication

If your order includes the hardcover book, you will be invited to enter a personalised dedication message (up to 120 characters) immediately after payment. The dedication is printed inside the front of the book. If you choose not to enter a dedication, the book will be printed without one. Once the book has entered production, the dedication cannot be amended.

Order Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 minutes of ordering, please check your spam folder and, if necessary, contact us. An absence of confirmation email does not mean an order was not placed, please verify with us before re-ordering to avoid duplicates.

Multiple Products and Additional Copies

You may order multiple products from the same preview (for example, a hardcover for the coffee table, a calendar for the kitchen wall, the digital pack for the lock screen) and you may order additional copies of any individual product. The Keepsake Bundle (hardcover book + wall calendar + 63-portrait digital pack) is also available at a discount against the individual prices. Each physical product is printed and shipped separately. Pricing for all products and bundles is shown at checkout.

Order Amendments

Physical products enter production shortly after ordering, so there is a limited window in which amendments (shipping address, dedication, etc.) can be made. If you need to change anything, contact us as soon as possible after ordering. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee this once printing has begun. Digital products are issued automatically after payment and cannot be amended after issue.

Order Cancellation

Because each order is a custom-created product made specifically for your pet and enters production (or, for digital products, is issued) shortly after payment, orders cannot be cancelled once placed. The free preview before payment is your opportunity to decide, you only pay if you love what you see.

Payment


Pricing

All prices are displayed at checkout in US Dollars. Prices are subject to change. Any change in pricing will not affect orders already placed. Customers outside the United States may incur additional currency conversion fees from their payment provider, which are outside our control.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store complete card details on our servers. Your payment information is subject to the terms and privacy policy of our payment processor. We accept major credit and debit cards as indicated at checkout.

No Subscription

TributeToMyPet operates on a single-purchase basis. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no automatic renewals. Each order is a standalone transaction. You will never be billed again unless you choose to place a new order.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, your order will not be placed. You will be notified and invited to try again. If a payment is authorised but your order is not confirmed, please contact us immediately so we can investigate.

Fraudulent Transactions

We reserve the right to cancel orders where we have reasonable grounds to believe a fraudulent transaction has occurred, and to report such transactions to relevant authorities. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us to resolve a complaint in good faith may result in the matter being referred for investigation.

Delivery & Shipping


Digital Products

Digital products (Digital Pack of 22 or 63 portraits, and the digital component of the Keepsake Bundle) are issued within minutes of payment. A download link is emailed to the address on the order and is also accessible via your account. Digital downloads do not require a shipping address.

Physical Products, Estimated Delivery Times

Physical products (hardcover book, wall calendar, greeting cards) are typically delivered within 2-3 weeks of being placed. This window covers portrait finalisation, professional printing, binding or finishing, and shipping. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Factors outside our control, including carrier delays, customs processing for international orders, and exceptional demand periods, may extend this window.

Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate at the time of ordering. We ship to the address provided at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address. If you notice an error in your shipping address after ordering, contact us immediately.

International Shipping

We ship worldwide. International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our pricing. We have no control over customs processing times, which may add to the delivery window.

Tracking

Once your physical order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. This allows you to monitor your delivery through the carrier's own tracking system.

Gifting

You may ship physical products directly to a gift recipient by entering their address at checkout. No pricing information or invoice is included inside the package.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage and contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional charge. If your tracking shows an item as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with neighbours and your local carrier, then contact us. We will do our best to resolve the situation.

Refunds & Guarantee


Our guarantee in plain English: Pre-payment, the preview is free and you owe us nothing if you don't love it. Post-payment, if a portrait isn't right we'll re-render it, and if a physical product arrives damaged or defective we'll replace it or refund you in full. No small print designed to make claiming difficult. No requirement to prove fault. Your satisfaction is the standard.

Full Refund Eligibility

A full refund will be issued if:

  • A physical product (hardcover book, wall calendar, or greeting cards) arrives damaged through shipping.
  • A physical product is lost in transit and we are unable to resolve this with the carrier.
  • Following one or more re-renders, you remain dissatisfied with the likeness of a portrait to your pet.
  • We are unable to produce a portrait collection that meets a reasonable standard of likeness to your pet.
  • A digital product fails to deliver and we are unable to restore access within a reasonable period.

Refund Process

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of approval.

Change of Mind

Because each order is a custom-created production made specifically for your pet, we are not able to accept returns based purely on change of mind. The free preview before payment exists precisely so that you can make a considered decision before any money changes hands. If something in the printed product differs from your preview in a meaningful way, that is a different matter and is covered by our re-render and refund policy above.

Digital Products

Digital downloads are issued immediately on payment and, as a custom-created digital asset specific to your pet, are not refundable for change of mind. They remain refundable if the files fail to deliver, are corrupted, or are otherwise unusable, or where the underlying portraits fail to meet a reasonable standard of likeness after we have attempted to re-render.

We have been doing this long enough to be confident in our work. The guarantee exists not as a marketing device but as an honest reflection of the standard we hold ourselves to. We would rather refund an order than have a customer keep something they don't fully love.

Ownership & Intellectual Property


Your Photos

You retain full ownership of the photos you upload. Uploading photos to our service does not transfer any ownership rights to us. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your photos solely for the purpose of generating your portrait collection and providing the service described in these terms (including transmission to our third-party AI image-generation provider for the duration of rendering). This licence terminates when your order is complete and any applicable support or remake window has closed.

The Portraits and Products

Upon full payment and delivery, you are granted a personal, non-commercial licence to use the portraits and the products you have purchased (hardcover book, wall calendar, greeting cards, and any digital files). You may display them in your home, send greeting cards to friends and family, share photographs of them on personal social media, and gift physical copies to others.

You may not reproduce the portraits or any digital files for commercial purposes, sell or licence the portrait imagery to third parties, redistribute the digital files to people other than members of your immediate household, or use the portraits in a way that could be confused with our own marketing materials, without our prior written consent.

Our Content

All other content on the TributeToMyPet website, including copy, design, imagery, and branding, is owned by October Wolf LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or use this content without our written permission.

DMCA and Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on our platform infringes your copyright, please contact us at the address in the Contact section with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  • A description of where the infringing material appears on our platform.
  • Your contact details.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within 7 business days.

Privacy & Data


Your privacy matters to us. The short version: we collect only what we need, we use it only for the purposes described, and we don't sell it.

What We Collect

To provide the service, we collect your email address, your pet's photos, your shipping address, and payment information (processed by our payment provider, we do not store complete card details). We may also collect basic usage information to improve the service.

How We Use It

We use your information to generate your preview, process your order, fulfil your physical or digital products, and communicate with you about your order. We may send you occasional emails about new products or offers from TributeToMyPet. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Who We Share It With

We share your data only with service providers who assist in delivering your order, including our third-party AI image-generation provider (which receives your uploaded photos for the duration of rendering), our print and fulfilment partner (which receives shipping details and the rendered portrait files, not your original photos), our payment processor, and our cloud infrastructure provider. These providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the purposes we specify, and specifically are prohibited from using your photos to train models.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers.

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. Where this involves transfers from the European Economic Area, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in the Contact section.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our website. By continuing to use our site, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Privacy Policy.

Liability


This section contains the legal language that we are required to include. We have tried to write it as clearly as possible, but it is necessarily more formal than the rest of this document.

Service Availability

TributeToMyPet is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We will endeavour to notify you of planned maintenance or outages where possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, October Wolf LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for failure to perform our obligations where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, governmental actions, carrier failures, or significant disruptions to internet infrastructure. We will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and endeavour to resume performance as quickly as possible.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to provide parts of our service, including payment processing, print fulfilment, and infrastructure. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control. Where a third-party failure affects your order, we will do our best to resolve the situation, but our liability remains limited as described above.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to circumvent any security measures, interfere with the service's operation, or use the service in a way that could harm others. Violations may result in termination of your access to the service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless October Wolf LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your conduct, uploaded content, violation of any third-party rights, breach of these terms, or misuse of the service.
